There's a new eatery in Bluffton
There’s a new eatery in town, and it’s only open during home Bluffton High School football games.
The Bluffton Music Boosters, who operate the concession stand at Harmon Field, unveiled new choices to its traditional Friday night specials. The grand opening is at the first home football game, Friday, Aug. 30, vs. Cory-Rawson.
According to Amy Lehman Mikesell, booster president, “The concession stand will feature new items showcasing local vendors. Our goal is to provide affordable meals for families coming to enjoy the football game.”
Here’s what’s new on the menu:
• New pulled-pork sandwich features meat from Bubba C's BBQ
• New Buffalo chicken and ranch slaw sandwich features chicken from A to Z Portion Meats
• Music Booster secret recipe homemade ranch slaw
• Other new items include Coney dogs, chili and chili cheese nachos
Mikesell said, “Fans attending varsity football games in Bluffton on Friday nights are invited to try our new items and enjoy a tasty, affordable meal all while supporting our school.”
She added that the music boosters provide assistance and financial support where ever needed within the school district music department.
