Vocational discernment and community engagement
Bluffton resident and Bluffton University alumna Kathy Dickson, director of vocational discernment and community engagement at Methodist Theological School of Ohio, will speak at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, in Centennial Hall’s Stutzman Lecture Hall.
Dickson will share “Discernment on Purpose—Checking in on Your Best Life.”
Designed for sophomore, junior and senior Bluffton University students, this forum provides reflective and practical support for addressing college goals in the context of the bigger picture of life.
The event will also draw on Bluffton’s 2019-20 Civic Engagement Theme “Living Our Best Lives.”
Throughout the year, Bluffton’s students, faculty and staff will draw on the Civic Engagement Theme to find a greater sense of well-being and joy through community. Ohio ranked 38th on the most recent State of American Well-Being Study.
