Nicholas Markowski is the Icon student artist of the month
Nicholas Markowski, Bluffton High School senior, is the Icon student artist of the month.
He has taken Art 1, Design 1, Design 2, and is currently taking Design 3 and Art Seminar.
His plans after high school range from attending Salem University, West Virginia; Tulane University, Louisiana; and Acadia University, Nova Scotia.
" I plan on going into forensic artistry with criminal profiling at the college that I end up choosing," he said.
"I enjoy art because it has always been a big part of my life. Even when I was in elementary school, I was constantly doodling and drawing," he said.
"Of course, my art was not as pretty as it is today, looking something similar to a bulbous Ninja-Turtle with balloon muscles, but I take pride in how far I have come and how far I will go in the future.
Vickie Garmon is the Bluffton High School art teacher.
