Ribbon cutting celebrates new Edward Jones office in Bluffton
Edward Jones financial advisor Ryan DeMarco invites the public to visit his new office at 111 N Main St. in Bluffton.
The 9 a.m.-4 p.m. open house on Friday, Feb. 14, includes a ribbon cutting at 9-9:30 a.m. with members of the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce.
DeMarco's office is located in the building that was formerly Scoreboard Sportswear and once was the Gillett and Hauenstein bakeries. Honoring this history, the open house will include the famous Gillett sausage rolls.
DeMarco said, "I am a big fan of history and always pay tribute to those who came before us. We did everything we could to leave original elements and make a welcoming, functional space." That includes original tin ceiling and walls.
