MHCO cancels all public events through March 31
Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio statement:
Please be advised that all public events scheduled to take place in Mennonite Memorial Home, Willow Ridge, Maple Crest or Hilty Home have been cancelled through March 31.
This is one of many steps that MHCO is taking to protect the well-being of those entrusted to our care. In addition, Gov. Mike DeWine has ordered that each resident of a nursing facility or assisted living community should not receive more than one visitor per day, and that all non-essential personnel refrain from entering nursing facilities and assisted living communities.
The Governor has also indicated plans to further restrict care facility visitation within the coming days.
We recommend communication with staff and residents in our communities by phone, e-mail, and other forms of electronic communication at this time. Anyone entering any of our campuses will be screened for signs and symptoms of Coronavirus.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time, and we are dedicated to keeping you informed about our efforts as the situation evolves.
