Jane (Badertscher) Walter was born in Bluffton
Jane M. Walter, 81, of Baltimore, Ohio, died at Fairfield Medical Center on Nov. 13, 2020. Jane was born to the late Ralph and Leota (Wilkins) Badertscher on May 11, 1939, in Bluffton, Ohio.
Jane was retired from the Fairfield Medical Center, where she an X-Ray technician. Jane was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Lancaster, and recently at Trinity United Church of Christ in Baltimore. She also sang in the choir at Broad Street Presbyterian, where she met Jim, and at Grace UCC.
Jane is survived by her husband of 51 years, James Walter; sons, Dr. John (Julie) Walter, Jason (Kelly) Walter, Joel (Leah) Walter; daughter, Jessica Walter; grandchildren, Jamie, Jacob, George and Emily Walter; brother, Dean Badertscher; nieces and nephews, Pete (Sara) Badertscher, Lori (Bill) Barnes, Sue (Walter) Delgado, Mark (Marjorie) Hrabe, Julie Snider, Ann (Stan) LeBahn; and sisters-in-law, Renee Badertscher and Janice Hrabe.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Brian Badertscher, Don Badertscher; and sister, Sara Benson.
