Blessing of the animals returns October 2
Bluffton Presbyterian Church, 112 N Main, will host a Blessing of the Animals Event on the church lawn on Saturday morning, October 2.
Several activities will take place between 10 a.m. and noon as follows:
10 a.m.-noon: Meet & Greet Animals from Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County; giveaways from local pet stores.
11 a.m. Blessing of the Animals Service (about 20 minutes).
11:30 a.m. Special giveaway drawing winner.
Cats, dogs, and other pets are welcome. All animals must be leashed or crated. A pet picture may be brought if preferred. Local shelters will bring some animals in need of homes. Adoption fees apply and may require a follow-up visit to the shelter. The event is sponsored by the Bluffton and Ottawa veterinary clinics.
