Mike Criblez worked for Marathon Petroleum
Michael Alan Criblez, 70, passed away January 10, 2022 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. Mike was born September 10, 1951 in Lima to the late Marion and Bernice (Hullibarger) Criblez. On September 23, 1972 he married Wanda Cramer Criblez.
Mike graduated from Allen East High School and received his bachelor's degree and master's degree from Ohio State University. He retired from the Lima Terminal of Marathon Petroleum and previously was a farmer and taught science at Spencerville Junior High School. Mike enjoyed mowing the yard, tinkering and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lafayette and had served as a Jackson Township Trustee.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Criblez of Bluffton; a son, Lance P. (Diana) Criblez of Harrod; three grandchildren, Lauren, Gabriel and Eli Criblez; a brother, Mark Criblez of Bluffton and a sister, Marsha (Tom) Criblez-Steger of Dublin.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Megan L. Criblez-Crowe.
A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 14, 2022 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
