Street Closures for April 8 Funeral: UPDATED closure begins at 7 a.m.

The Village of Bluffton will close through access to the following roads starting at 7 a.m. on Friday, April 8 to accommodate a funeral motorcade for services honoring Bluffton Police Officer Dominic Francis:
Bentley Road from Augsburger Road to Columbus Grove-Bluffton Road/Grove Street
Elm Street from Bentley Road to Main Street
Residents living on these streets should be mindful of the impact these closures may have on the morning commute. Many local churches are offering their lots for public parking. Parking for the funeral on Bluffton University’s campus will be limited to university faculty, staff and students, Francis family members and law enforcement/first responders.
Bluffton residents planning to attend the funeral are asked to walk to the service. Parking for all others will be limited to street parking throughout the village.

PROCESSION TO CLYMER CEMETERY
The funeral procession for Officer Dominic Francis will leave Bluffton University's Sommer Center and travel eastbound on Elm Street. It will turn left onto Main Street, passing the Bluffton Police Department and will continue north on Main Street onto County Road 313. It will follow County Road 313 to the Cory Rawson High School where the procession will turn left into the Cory Rawson School bus entrance, continue through the parking lot onto to County Road 313. The procession will continue westbound on County Road 313 back to State Route 235 then turn north onto State Route 235. Then travel through the Village of Mt. Cory to County Road 37. At County Road 37 the procession will turn left and procced to Clymer Cemetery for graveside services.
