Mary Ruth Wagner was a homemaker
Mary Ruth Wagner, 91, of Ada, passed away December 18, 2023 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. Mary was born March 24, 1932 in Delphos to the late Forest and Martha (Kunz) Gudakunst. On May 18, 1952 she married Carl Wagner who survives.
Mary graduated from Delphos Jefferson High School and was a homemaker. She had previously worked at Triplett Corporation in Bluffton. Mary was an active member of Riley Creek Baptist Church in Bluffton.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Wagner of Ada; four children, David Wagner of Ada, Cindy Parkins of Bluffton, Thomas (Cynthia) Wagner of Bluffton, Karla (Dennis) Burkholder of Bluffton; eight grandchildren, Jeremy (Katie) Parkins, Brandon (Taryn) Parkins, Dr. Amanda Wagner, Andrew (Nicole) Wagner, Kyle (Paige) Wagner, Chad (Anna) Burkholder, Craig (Danie) Burkholder, Curt Burkholder; nine great-grandchildren and one on the way; a brother, Donald (Linda) Gudakunst of Lima and three sisters, Phyllis Lytle of Lima, Coleen Binkley of Lima and Fern Cowan of Lima.
Mary was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Susan Wagner and a sister, Catherine High.
Mary's services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Riley Creek Baptist Church, Bluffton with Pastor David Lanquist officiating. Burial will be in Hasson Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Creek Baptist Church or the American Alzheimer's Association.
