Daryl D. Steiner owned Steiner Financial Services
Daryl D. Steiner, 66, passed away July 23, 2024 at University of Michigan Hospital after an extended illness.
Daryl was born May 31, 1958 in Bluffton to the late Evan and Betty (Reichenbach) Steiner. On June 10, 1978, he married Kathy (Myers) Steiner who survives.
Daryl owned Steiner Financial Services in Bluffton since 1983 and partnered with Jason Granger to form Steiner and Granger Insurance. He was actively involved in the life and health insurance sectors as well as the investment industry, holding memberships in numerous professional organizations.

A dedicated member of the Bluffton community, Daryl served as the Board President of the Bluffton Community Child Development Center. One of his most cherished projects was the funding and construction of the Ricky Matter Strength and Conditioning Center, established in honor of the late Ricky Matter.
An avid golfer and traveler, Daryl cherished time spent with his family, and his greatest pride and joy were his grandsons, Blake and Kody.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Steiner of Bluffton; two children, Gregory (Cathy) Steiner of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Keri (David) Kozlowsko of Rushsylvania, Ohio; two grandsons, Blake and Kody Kozlowsko; a sister-in-law, Brenda Steiner of Bluffton; a brother-in-law, Stephen (Patricia) Myers of Rushsylvania, Ohio; a niece, Autumn Steiner of Bradenton, Florida; two nephews, Evan (Amber) Steiner of Bluffton, Tyler (Mackenzie) Myers of Rapid City, South Dakota and a great nephew, Calvin.
Daryl was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Steiner.
Daryl's services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2024 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton with Pastor Donna Myers officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Eastern Michigan Athletic Media Relations Office or the University of Michigan Liver Research and Transplant Program.
