Bluffton Lions invitation to Artificial Intelligence program
12 noon on Tuesday, October 15, Bluffton Town Hall
Courtnee R. Morris will be the featured speaker at the Bluffton Lions Club meeting on October 15. Morris is the Technology Coordinator for the Bluffton Exempted Village Schools (BEVS) and will speak about Artificial Intelligence.
The meeting will be held on the third floor of Bluffton Town Hall and is open to the public.
Morris is originally from Dunkirk, Ohio, and graduated from Hardin Northern High School, where he excelled in football, basketball and baseball. He continued his athletic and academic journey at Bluffton University, playing football and earning a degree in Child Development. His career began at Head Start in Lima, where he worked as a preschool teacher, Health and Disabilities Coordinator and Nurturing Fathers Coordinator. Courtnee then transitioned to Apollo Career Center, where he taught juniors and seniors for nine years as the Early Childhood Education Instructor.
During his time at Apollo, he earned a Master's Degree in Career and Technical Education from the University of Toledo and became an adjunct professor in the Alternative Licensure program. He also obtained a Principal License from the University of Dayton and served as Director of Career and Technical Education for Lima City Schools. For the past two years, he has been the Technology Coordinator at BEVS while completing his Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology from Liberty University.
Courtnee has been happily married for almost 17 years and is a proud parent of two daughters. He owns Mack N' Morris Entertainment, is a published author through ReedsReadings Co., and performs with the Christian Hip Hop group B List Boys. Additionally, he is an ordained minister, motivational speaker and host of the Just Takes 5 speaking channel, all while pursuing numerous other passions.
