Guy "Gene" E. Miller worked for Dana Corporation
Guy "Gene" E. Miller, 85, passed away November 23, 2024, at the Mennonite Memorial Home.
Guy "Gene" was born December 24, 1938 in Lima to LeRoy and Viola (Burden) Miller who preceded him in death. On November 22, 1985 he married Sharon (Thompson) Miller and she survives.
Gene was a member of the Lima Baptist Temple and retired from the Dana Corporation after 30 years of dedication. He could always be found tinkering and enjoyed attending auctions.
Gene is survived by his wife, Sharon Miller of Pandora; two daughters, Lisa Quintana of Wapakoneta and Stacee Marshall of Wapakoneta; a step-daughter, Joy Macke of Pandora; five grandchildren, Derrick (Jessica) Holtzberger, Courtney (JJ) Seymour, Erin (Bobby) Eiland, Victoria (Adam) Ellis, Tyler Quintana, and Maggie (Damon) Staup ; three step-grandchildren, Lindsay (Collin) Hall, Walker (Toria) Macke, and Weston Macke; eight great-grandchildren, Austin Seymour, Natalie Holtzberger, Brice, Ben, and Kylie Moody, Chevi Eiland, and Kolten and Brooklin Ellis; two step-great-grandchildren, Indy and Pilot Hall; and four siblings, Erma Duran, Ronnie Miller, Donald (Ima Jean) Miller, and Terry Miller.
Gene was preceded in death by a step-grandchild, Lydia Macke; two great-grandchildren, Kaleb Holtzberger and Mackenzie Moody and seven siblings.
Services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton with Pastor Ben Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Friday, November 29, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
