Bluffton University’s Concert Band, under the direction of Dr. Roy Couch, will present the Winter Instrumental Concert at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27, in Yoder Recital Hall.
Musical selections include:
A wind-band setting of hymns “A Scottish Sunrise (Morning Has Broken)” and “In Simple Faith (‘Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus);”
Compositions based on an extra-musical idea “The Ides of March,” “Radiance” and “Undertow” by John Mackey;
In only its second year as a swim team with the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the Bluffton High School swim team has nine individual qualifiers and five relay teams moving onto the OHSAA Northwest District Division II competition February 18-20, 2022 at Bowling Green State University.
Bluffton High School art students have had 14 pieces of art accepted by the annual Kewpee High School Art Invitational at ArtSpace/Lima. The show at 65-67 Town Square, Lima, runs from February 11-26. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and admission is free.

The Pandora-Gilboa High School boys basketball team (8-0 BVC, 4-1 PCL, 13-6) went to McComb and picked up a win on February 11, ending their two-game losing streak. The Blanchard Valley Conference game ended with the score 54-42.
The win keeps P-G undefeated atop the BVC standings with one big conference game remaining on Saturday, February 19 at home against Liberty-Benton (7-1).
