New location

Jimmy Grose, manager of Bluffton's Cellular Central/Verizon store, takes a call. The store recently relocated to 142 E. Jefferson St.

Cellular Central, Inc./Verizon Wireless had a new home. The North Main Street business has relocated in a portion of the former Movie Gallery at 142 E. Jefferson St. The move took place last week.

The store is part of a 43-store chain in Ohio. Its home office is in Toledo. Jimmy Grose of Findlay is the store manager, serving in his third year in that position. Cellular Central had operated in Bluffton for the past six years.

Each year residents, families and others can recommend employees from Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio for their outstanding care and service they give.

This year MHCO received many nominations. Eight people were chosen from the organization to attend the "LeadingAge Ohio" regional award luncheon to be honored for their outstanding care.

Five were from Mennonite Memorial Home and three were from Maple Crest Senior Living Village.

Taking home honors from Tuesday^aEURTMs Athletics Awards Forum at Bluffton University were (left to right) Del Gratz, Kim Miller, Shauna Rowland and Rob Luderman.

Bluffton University presented three athletics awards to four recipients on April 19.

Sharing the Kathryn E. Little Award as the university's outstanding senior female athlete were basketball player Kim Miller of Delphos, Ohio, and volleyball player Shauna Rowland of Bucyrus, Ohio.
