Dr. Regina Nagy joins the Neil & Laura Clark Women & Children’s Center

Regina Nagy, MD, a physician specialized in obstetrics and gynecology, has joined the experienced women’s health care team at the Neil & Laura Clark Women & Children’s Center, a division of Blanchard Valley Health System.

Dr. Nagy received her bachelor’s degree in biology and mathematics at Wilberforce University (Wilberforce, Ohio) and her master’s degree in anatomy at Wright State University (Dayton, Ohio). She completed medical school at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and fulfilled her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Detroit Medical Center.

BVHS Service of Remembrance April 29

The 17th annual Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) Service of Remembrance takes place at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 29, at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 120 W. Sandusky St., Findlay.

The non-denominational memorial service honors BVHS patients and residents who passed away in 2017. All are welcome to attend, which will be followed by a reception.

Awarded “A” grade

Blanchard Valley Hospital recognized for outstanding patient safety

Blanchard Valley Hospital (BVH) was recently honored with an “A” grade in the Spring 2018 Hospital Safety Score, by the Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit organization whose goal is to improve health care quality for consumers and purchasers.

This recognition is a reflection of how well hospitals protect patients from errors, accidents, injuries and infections. BVH was one of 750 hospitals awarded with an “A.”

OB/GYN physician will see patients at Bluffton Women's Center

Dr. Molly Senokozlieff, MD,will also accept appointments at EasternWoods

Dr. Molly Senokozlieff, MD, a physician specialized in obstetrics and gynecology, has joined the women’s health care team at Blanchard Valley Health System.

She is now accepting appointments at Bluffton Women’s Care, 559 Harmon Road, Bluffton, 419-358-8856, and at EasternWoods Outpatient Center, Findlay.

Dr. Senokozlieff received her bachelor’s degree at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. She completed medical school at Ohio State University and fulfilled her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Ohio State. She has been providing OB/GYN services for 14 years.

May 5 Afternoon English tea tickets now on sale

Tickets are on sale for an authentic afternoon English tea from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 5, at Bystillwaters Bistro, 112 Vine St., Bluffton.

Tickets are on sale at Bluffton Hospital gift shop and at the Bistro. Tickets are $30 per person and the event is limited to 30 persons, age 12 and up.

Heather Cox of the Bistro will discuss proper tea etiquette and how teas originated in England.

She will serve an authentic English tea with homemade finger sandwiches, tea cakes and scones with clotted cream.

Attire is "posh frocks" (hats and dresses.

Silent art auction includes painting, pottery, photos

Bluffton Hospital Auxiiary will hold a silent art auction with bidding from May 1 to 12. Art will be featured in the CVS/Greg's Pharmacy windows, Main Street, Bluffton.
