Bluffton Family Recreation fall session 3 begins on Monday, Oct. 12, and there is still time to sign-up, according to Daniel Tinch, executive director.

The session run until Nov. 8 and includes youth programs, adult league and Group Ex classes.
This fall BFR holds two school break camps. The first is Tuesday, Nov. 24, focusing on “good eats.” The second is Wednesday, Dec. 23, focusing on winter STEM.
Club BFR offers school-age youth Monday to Friday programming from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Bluffton Family Recreation is a busy place this month.
Several programs begin this week and next including U6 fall soccer, fifth and sixth grade volleyball, adult coed volleyball and an introduction to volleyball for 3rd and 4th graders.
Amy Byers, BFR sports coordinator, shows one of the volleyball shirts that each of the 3rd and 4th graders in this fall’s program will receive when the program begins on Saturday morning.
Many of the traditional fall youth programs will also start this month. Check the BFR website for registration details.
Bluffton Family Recreation announces plans for an online school program for both Bluffton schools and Hancock County Schools for this fall, according to Daniel Tinch, BFR executive director.
The programs assist parents unable to be at home with their children during the online school days.
Both programs are for students ages 5 to 12.
Both programs allow students to complete online schoolwork in a supervised setting with academic help provided by Bluffton University Study Buddies (education majors).

Bluffton Family Recreation is busy concluding summer programming while getting ready for the fall. Here's what coming:
Club BFR
This after-school program is for 5 to 12-year-olds and takes place from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Busing from the elementary to BFR is part of the program. The cost is $40 for members and $80 for non-members. A youth’s one-month membership is $20.

Campers will participate in a week full of fun tasks that challenge their thinking skills, game play and endurance in the Amazing Race-themed challenge. The importance of working in a team and communicating will be highlighted throughout adventures in this race to the finish.

7:30 - 9:30 a.m. Pre-camp
9:30 a.m. -3:30 p.m. - Traditional camp
3:30-5:30 p.m. - Post camp
