Donation supports youth services department

Bluffton Public Library received a donation of $347.29 from the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association to be put toward the library's Youth Services department, according to Jessica Hermiller, library director.

"The library wishes to thank the gracious patrons, community members, and businesses and organization for their support," she said.

"It's through this support that donors have a significant role in helping our community grow, learn, and create – developing our patrons into citizens who care and contribute to their surroundings.

The library is hosting two First Day of School Storytimes to celebrate the start of school - on Monday, Aug. 19 at 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 10 a.m.  Please register for this event.

The library is offering a Wellness for Women workshop on Monday, August 19, at 6 p.m., led by Dr. Molly Senokozlieff from Blanchard Valley Obstetrics and Gynecology. The library requests anyone interested register on or before Tuesday, Aug. 15.

Presentation by Legal Aid of Western Ohio

A free program on educational rights take place at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Bluffton Public Library.

It is of special interest to parents of school-aged children. Legal Aid of Ohio will present the free educational rights program.

Registrants will receive a broad overview of parental rights regarding various school-related topics with time for questions to follow.
