Connie Kruse and her staff put together one of the most interested holiday decorated stores anywhere.

The Icon recently visited Town and Country and took our video camera long.

As the holiday season approaches, Lewis Family McDonald’s has begun preparing for their annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner.

The dinner, started in 1989 by the Chester Carey Family, is now in its 11th year under the Lewis family.

The dinner will be held on Thursday, Nov. 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lima Veteran’s Memorial Civic and Convention Center.

The Dough Hook, 117 N. Main St.,  is collection donations for the Epilepsy Foundation, as November is Epilepsy Awareness Month.

According to Marlena Ballinger, customers who make donations may sign their name onto a purple ribbon, which will be displayed at the store.

In addition, Ballinger reminds customers that Wednesday, Nov. 18, is the final day to order a fresh turkey for Thanksgiving.
