Trick-or-treat at MMH on Oct. 29

The Village of Bluffton's trick-or-treat night is Thursday, Oct. 29. Hours are 6 to 7:30 p.m. In addition, the Mennonite Memorial Home, 410 W. Elm St., invites Halloweeners to its lobby from 6 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 29.

Saturday bake sale in front of Greg's Pharmacy

A Bluffton Food Pantry benefit bake sale will take place from 9 a.m. until items are sold on Saturday, Oct. 10. The bake sale takes place in front of Greg's Pharmacy, 126 N. Main St.

According to Angie Halcomb of Greg's donations and food items for the sale are accepted.

Suter's Produce offers a Maze of fall features

Pirate Trails and Treasures II will keep corn maze fans busy this month. 

The maze, at Suter’s Produce, 12200 Pandora Road, opened in mid-September and continues until its last day on Oct. 31.

Suter’s offers lots more than their traditional corn maze.

Other features include a hayride, corn cannons, giant tube slide, human hamster wheels, pumpkins, cider press and apples.

Maze hours:
Saturdays and Sundays 1 to 8 p.m.
(Last admission at 7 p.m.)

Jim Boedicker performs at Saturday's Farmers' Market

Popular area musician, Jim Boedicker, will perform at the Bluffton Farmers' Market on Saturday, Sept. 26.

The market is located in the Citizens National Bank parking lot on South Main Street. Market hours are 8:30 a.m. to noon. Boedicker will perform in the Market's Main Street entrance. 

The Market is part of this year's Bluffton Fall Festival, also taking place on Saturday. The Market is sponsored by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Ada's 30th harvest and herb fest this weekend

FROM THE ADA ICON - Bluffton celebrates its fall festival on Saturday, Sept. 26, and Ada celebrates its harvest and herb festival this Saturday.

 

The Fest sprawls on Ada's Main Street  all the way from First United Methodist Church to Lehr Avenue.

 

Here’s the schedule of events:
• 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Booths open on Main Street
• 10 a.m. – Parade on Main Street
