Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "Mirror Mirror" (PG) and "October Baby" (PG-13) will be showing at the theatre from April 13-19.

Show times follow:

Mirror Mirror - Each evening at 7 PM with Saturday and Sunday matinee at 1:30 PM.

October Baby - Each evening at 9:30 PM with Saturday and Sunday matinee at 4 PM.

The theatre will be CLOSED on Easter afternoon (no matinees), but will re-open Easter evening for the 7:00 & 9:30 PM shows.

Bluffton's next American Red Cross blood drive is from noon to 6 p.m., Thursday, April 5, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, corner of Spring and Elm.

Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental permission in Indiana and Ohio), meet weight and height requirements (110 pounds or more, depending on their height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.

Bluffton High School presents "Vaudeville Tonight, A musical Revue." Performances are at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14, and at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 15 on the Bluffton Middle School stage.

The musical is based upon the book by Joseph George Caruso and orchestration by Paul Curnow.

St. John's United Church of Christ beef and noodle dinner, a Bluffton tradition, is back and slated for Friday, April 13.

The dinner will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 pm in St. John's Oppermann Hall, which can be accessed from College Avenue. (223 West College Ave, Bluffton)

The dinner includes homegrown beef, homemade noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, roll, homemade pie and beverages.

Admission for adults is $7, for young adults 6th grade through college $5, for elementary students $4 and children pre-K are free. Eat in or carry out.

BFR offers a wide variety of class options beginning in mid-April, according to Carole Enneking, director.

Among special programs offered in April is a Kids Fun Nite, from 6 to 11 p.m., Saturday, April 28. There is a maximum registration fo 75 for the night. The evening includes games, snacks, late-night pizza, pinatas and prizes.
