Performances at 7:30 p.m. on November 11 and 12

The Bluffton High School Drama Club is preparing a comic play about the days of COVID lockdown. A brief preview of rehearsals of Still Stuck at Home had the Icon stifling laughs backstage while the cast, crew and directors worked on blocking, set arrangement and learning their lines.

Just in time for Halloween, Bluffton resident Fred Steiner will present “Where Bluffton’s ghosts sleep,” at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30, in the Folsom Auditorium of the Allen County Historical Museum, 620 W. Market St., Lima.

Trick or Treat night in Bluffton is from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 27. An area news outlet accidentally listed it as Wednesday.

Fortunately, today's rain is forecast to go away.

The Bluffton Senior Citizen's Center, 132 N. Main St., will host a Christmas Garage Sale on

  • Friday, October 28, 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday October 29, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

An Election Day Dinner will be held at Bluffton First United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall (Church Basement), 116 Church Street, on Tuesday, November 8.

The menu is Baked Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Vegetable, Roll, Dessert

The meal will be served from 4:30- 6:30 p.m.

Adults - $10.00
Children 12 and Under - $5

Dine-in or Carry-out. Organizers say, “We hope you’ll join us!”

October 22 has dawned and it's a beatiful day for hanging out in Bluffton. The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce has promoted activities for the final Discovery Day of the season, which includes the opportunity to win Bluffton Bucks when you visit and shop at participating businesses.
