Chaplain Basil Meyer of Bluffton American Legion Post 382 has announced a worship service to observe the Sacrifice of Four Armed Forces Chaplains during World War II. This annual observance is part of the Legion’s “Service to God and country” program.
At 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, a public worship service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 116 Church St. Legion officials and clergymen are planning special programs for the observance of the 79th Anniversary of the sinking of the USS Dorchester and the heroism demonstrated by the four chaplains in that event.
The Allen County Ag Outlook and Agronomy Day will be held at the Allen County Fairgrounds beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
Morning sessions will focus on commodity market outlook and ag policy. Afternoon sessions will provide answers to agronomy questions and opportunities to obtain pesticide applicator and fertilizer recertification credits, and CCA education hours. The program will wrap up at 3:30 p.m.

Over 750 sophomores in Apollo Career Center’s 11-member district will be visiting Apollo during 411Blast, Friday, January 28, 2022. The school is located at 3325 Shawnee Rd, Lima, Ohio.
This day is designed to expose students to possibilities and pathways that are available for their career and/or college success. Students choose two programs of interest and then spend one-half day visiting those labs, meeting the instructors and participating in fun, interactive demos and activities. The Findlay Art League has announced two public events, both live and by zoom, centered around the photograph exhibit “The Body Botanical; Twigs, Blooms and Nudes” by Wendy Chappell-Dick.
The display runs through the month of January at the Findlay Art League. 117 W Crawford St, Findlay. Hours are Tuesday-Friday 12 - 5:30 p.m., Saturday 12- 4pm. The exhibit is described as "rated PG13 for liberal parents and R for more conservative."
