Gideon Steiner, 93, died at 2:40 p.m. Nov. 10, 2010, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. Arrangements are incomplete at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton.

Arline W. Wagner, 99, of Bluffton, died at 3:55 a.m., Nov. 8, 2010, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.

She was born Nov. 18, 1910 in Dola, Ohio, to Willis and Myrtle Swartz Wolfe. She married Daniel W. Wagner and he died in 1980.Mrs. Wagner was a homemaker.

Survivors are a daughter, Norma Parent, Bluffton; grandson, Daniel (Denise) Parent, Aiken, S.C., granddaughter, Roxanne (Mark) Pool, Lexington, Ky. and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Dale and Robert Wolfe, and one sister, Kathryn Mills.

Carol Patterson

Carol Christine Patterson, 92, of Wayne, Penna., and formerly of Bluffton, and Greenbelt, Md., died Nov. 1, 2010 at the Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit, West Chester, Penna.

She was born April 16, 1918 in Orange Twp, Hancock County, Ohio to Clarence and Mabel Anderson Cookson. On May 22, 1941 she married Charles A. Patterson and he preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1989.

Kathleen A. Evilsizer

Kathleen A. Evilsizer, 82, Bluffton, died at 7:42 a.m., Oct. 31, 2010 at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton. She was born July 29,1928, to John T. and Margaret E. (Woods) Moran in Lincolnshire, England. On June 13, 1952, she married James S. Evilsizer and he died Nov. 29, 1992.

She was a homemaker and member of the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center.

Geraldine Mae Grismore Bucher, 93, died Oct. 22, 2010, at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. She was born Aug. 8, 1917, in Bluffton to Allen and Cora Burkholder Grismore. Geraldine married S. Vinton Bucher on May 4, 1941, and he preceded her in death on Good Friday, 2009.

Mrs. Bucher graduated from Bluffton High School and attended Bluffton College. Geraldine and Vinton lived and worked on a farm next to her parent's farm. She worked as a telephone operator in Pandora and then at Triplett Corp. for more than 20 years.

James D. Moser, 88, of Pandora, died 12:00 p.m. Oct. 25, 2010, at the Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. He was born Aug. 3, 1922, in Richland Township to Ira and Mary Herr Moser. On June 29, 1942, he married Dorothy Huser and she survives.

In 1957 Mr. Moser started his own electrical business in Pandora where he sold Hotpoint appliances, paint and small appliances. His wife, Dorothy, served as his bookkeeper and secretary. In 1968 his son, Tom, joined him.
