Second quarter honor roll for Bluffton High School

The Bluffton High School guidance office released the following honor roll for the second quarter of the 2021-2022 school year.

9th Grade – all A:

OSU-Lima Dean's List announced

The Ohio State University at Lima has announced the fall 2021 Dean’s List, which includes students who have achieved top grades for their work.

Criteria for the dean’s list varies by college. It is usually based on the GPA for that specific term and the number of credit hours taken. Many colleges require a minimum of 12 graded credit hours with a 3.5 GPA or higher.

The following students are listed from the Bluffton Icon reading area. Students may choose not to have their name released.

Seth Andreas on Eastern Mennonite Dean's List

Seth Andreas of Bluffton earned Fall 2021 Dean's List honors from Eastern Mennonite University.

The Dean's List, compiled at the end of each semester, includes degree-seeking students who achieve a semester GPA of at least 3.75 with no W, I, or F grades for 12 semester hours of standard grades.

Mittendorf on Bradley University dean's list

Thaddeus Mittendorf, a Bradley student majoring in Accounting from Bluffton, OH, has been named to the Fall 2021 Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.

Bradley University is a private university in Peoria, Illinois, with some 6,000 undergraduate and graduate students.

Bluffton Girl Scouts raise funds with cookie sales

Girl Scouts in Bluffton are ready for annual cookie sales, which fund local scouting activities throughout the year. On January 7, Bluffton scouts from 5 local troops (kindergarten to 8th grade) met at the Bluffton United Methodist Church for activities to prepare them for cookie sales.

OSU-Lima scholarships announced

The Ohio State University at Lima has named its scholarship winners for the 2021-2022 academic year. Scholarship winners are attending Ohio State Lima and meet the criteria for each scholarship.
