State Representative Bob Cupp (R-Lima) was elected as the new Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives on July 30.
“I am deeply grateful to have earned the support of my fellow colleagues who have entrusted me with the position of Speaker of the House. It is a great privilege to lead this chamber, and I pledge to do so honorably, fairly and humbly,” Cupp said in remarks to the House.
Bluffton State Farm Insurance and Ed Reichenbach State Farm recently donated $500 toward the Bluffton Lion’s Foundation to keep the bike path projecty around Bluffton moving. Amanda E. Crates of Dunkirk has been appointed to the Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors for a term beginning July 27, 2020, and ending June 30, 2023. The appointment was announced this week by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.
