Bluffton police apprehended two Michigan residents and booked them on numerous felony drug charges following an early Sunday morning incident in the area of the Fairway Inn.

The police department’s news release follows:

7 p.m. contest opponent is Fairview Park HS, Cuyahoga County school

Bluffton High School boys’ soccer team travels to Sandusky today (Wednesday, Oct. 30) for a 7 p.m. Division III regional semi-final round game versus Fairview Park.

The game is played at Sandusky High School’s football stadium, Strobel Field and Cedar Point Stadium, 75 Orlando Pace Drive, Sandusky. (The game was originally set for Sandusky Perkins, but was changed to Sandusky HS.)

Tickets at the gate are $8.

A BHS spirit bus leaves Bluffton at 5 p.m. tonight.

Officers arrested a Pandora resident on an outstanding warrant out of the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers arrested a Fort Wayne, Indiana, resident for OVI following a traffic stop on Interstate 75 for a marked lanes violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.

Alexis Cash (Gaines, Mich.) Bluffton University senior, is the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's cross country player of the week.

Cash lead the Beaversswith a 10th place finish in 24:03.5 fora recent 8-kilometer race.

In a notable performance, Dakota Frost (Edgerton) Bluffton University Senior paced the Beaver's men's team, coming in 15th place with a time of 27:10.7 for the 8-kilometer race.

 

Police recover approximately $50,000 in counterfeit currency along with items believed to have been purchased with counterfeit currency

FROM ADA ICON - Ada police broke up a counterfeit ring in Ada on Wednesday, (Aug. 21), according to Michael Harnishfeger, Ada police chief.

The police issued the following report:

On Wednesday, Aug. 21, at approximately 3 p.m., officers of the Ada Police Department executed a search warrant at 102 ½ N. Main St., Apartment 5, Ada, as part of an on-going investigation into the passing of counterfeit money.

Bluffton police have released its July docket, which follows:

July 3
Officers received a fraud complaint from a Riley Street resident.

Officers responded to a College Avenue residence in reference to a child custody dispute. During the same incident, the complainant also reported an unknown person hacked her Netflix account.

July 4
An East College Avenue resident reported a criminal damage complaint to police.
