-Police responded to a Commerce Ln Business in response to a female that had attempted to overdose on pills.

-Officers responded to the university in response to a female that had threatened to commit suicide and was wandering around the campus.

-Police took a theft complaint from a N. Main St. Business.
-Officers responded to a non-injury traffic crash on I-75.

Police attempted to stop a vehicle near the intersection of County Line Rd and E. Elm St. The vehicle fled the scene and drove through a couple yards on Eastland Dr. at which time the driver left the area on foot. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

A Beaverdam resident reported that an unknown person had keyed her vehicle while it was parked overnight at a Grove St. residence.

Jan Basinger, Bluffton EMS chief, released the January EMS docket.

Police reported 266 calls during December

Rick Skilliter, Bluffton police chief, provided the December Bluffton police report to council on Jan. 10. In December the police responded to 266 calls, 58 traffic stops and 13 citations.
