The Village of Bluffton invites stakeholders to provide feedback on the master plan for Bluffton Airport, a facility owned by the village and operated by Bluffton Flying Service. It currently provides a base for Life Flight emergency medical helicopters, airplane maintenance, pilot training, jet fuel, hangars and tie downs. The runway is 4126 x 75 ft.

At the Bluffton council meeting of October 11, the Bluffton Police Department honored five officers with service awards ranging from five to thirty years. Officers Troy Hartzog, Officer Charles “Ed” Montgomery, Officer Nathan Jordan, Lt. Matthew Oglesbee, and Corporal Lonny Kent were presented with certificates and plaques commemorating their awards.
