Icon seeks reviewers with opinions

For movies, music and books

• Can you review movies?
• How about pop singers?
• Or, books?

Do you watch lots of movies and have your own opinions about them?
Do you listen to the latest preforming groups or solo acts ... or know what group is performing where, next?
Do you read book after book after book and have your own thoughts on them?

The Bluffton and Ada Icon seeks reviewers interested in writing movie reviews,  music reviews and book reviews. No, not one to write each of the three; one for movies, one for music, and one for books.

Reichert's, Ada, will close this summer

One of the last remaining small-town clothing stores in NW Ohio

FROM ADA ICON – Ada’s downtown retail centerpiece, Reichert’s clothing store, will close later this summer, says Fred Reichert, owner, who is retiring. For older Bluffton residents, Reichert’s is the “Geiger and Diller” of Ada.

It first opened in 1952 serving several generations of shoppers in its 68 years of existence.

The Ada men, women’s and youth’s clothing store is one of few remaining retail businesses of its type in small towns across northwestern Ohio, having battled the malls and online clothing giants.

More Ohio reopenings announced

Including movie theaters, playgrounds and public rec centers

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the reopening of certain facilities including certain entertainment facilities with health and safety restrictions.

“As I’ve said, Ohioans are able to do two things at once. We can continue to limit the spread of COVID-19 while we safely reopen our economy. It is up to each of us to do what we can to keep each other safe and choose to keep six feet of social distance, wear masks, and maintain good hand hygiene.” said Governor DeWine.
