Bluffton Hospital invites the community to a preview of the new Bluffton Hospital Emergency Department and Surgery Department on Sunday, June 19 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The preview will include tours of the new surgery suites and emergency treatment rooms. Bluffton Hospital nurses, staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions. Refreshments will be served.

Bluffton's Barberettes, a group of 25 women who give concerts in local senior living communities, will be performing twice during Bluffton's sesquicentennial celebrations.

They will appear at the Old Settlers Potluck at the Ebenezer Church, June 26th at 1:30 p.m. and also at the Bluffton Presbyterian Church June 29th at 8:00 p.m.

The Barberettes will present "Popular Songs from the Last 15 Decades". Included in the program is a song written especially for them and for the sesquicentennial celebration called "Bluffton Ohio".

Two lecture series are planned as part of Bluffton's Sesquicentennial Celebration, both in the third floor of Town Hall.

Monday, June 27, 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, June 30, 7-9 p.m.

Seventy Bluffton merchants are participating in a raffle to help the food pantry and celebrate our Sesquicentennial. Participating merchants will have a poster at their place of business.

Tickets will be issued one per item donated for the Food Pantry. Bring a donation for the food pantry, get one ticket for each item (for example, five items gets you five tickets).

Tickets are available during June at many events in Bluffton: the Car Show, Farmer's Market, Relay For Life, and numerous other events.

The Village of Bluffton announces its Sesquicentennial Celebration in honor of Bluffton'^A's ^A"150 Years of Progress.^A" People of all age groups will be able to experience history first-hand through demonstrations and reenactments throughout the week.

Boy Scout Indian Village will be held all day at Buckeye Lake on Saturday, June 25, Sunday, June 26, Friday, July 1, and Saturday, July 2.
