Bluffton Public Library will be closed July 2, 3 and 5 for a system upgrade and the Independence Day holiday. Due dates for library materials will be adjusted accordingly.

Rain, rain, go away, come again some other day. During the past seven days, the area has recorded 1.75 inches of rain, according to Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer. During the recent seven-day period rain fell on six of those days. Here's his daily report.
Kristen Shelly, daughter of Mark and Kathy Shelly of Penfield, N.Y., and Devon Matthews, son of Lawrence and Louise Matthews, Bluffton, were married on Saturday, May 29, 2010.
Randy Keeler of Bluffton, presided over the outdoor ceremony overlooking Lake Ontario in Webster, N.Y.
Bridesmaids included the maid-of-honor Karla Nofziger of Archbold, sister Lauren Shelly of Philadelphia, Pa., Holly Nickeson of Rochester, N.Y., and Erin Neufeld Weaver of Bluffton.
Several new construction steps are part of the June 14 Bl;uffton Hospital renovation. Work projects planned this week follow:
* Charles Construction will be installing the new exterior Emergency Department entrance door.
* As they prepare to install the new interior ER entrance door, Facility Services will begin to remove the wall shelves and fixed desk at the former ER Nurse Station.
* The patient monitors will be relocated as a wall mount within the existing Emergency Department.
