THEIR CARTRIDGE WORLD STORE OPENS A RECYCLED INK CARTRIDGE CENTER IN GREG'S PHARMACY
By Fred Steiner
No one knows computer printer ink cartridges like brothers, Dave and Bob Fett of Bluffton. And thanks to their knowledge, Bluffton residents have an opportunity to join in the "green" ink cartridge revolution.
Dave and Bob closed their residential home building company when the housing market turned sour. But, as the saying goes, when one door shuts, another opens.
KM 71 stands for the late Ken Mikesell and his graduation year of 1971 from Blufftgon High School. You'll see this plate on a small truck parked at the corner of Vine and Lawn.
FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY CHALLENGES THE COMMUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN $BUCKS FOR BOOKS$
The Friends of the Library wil donate $1,000 to the Bluffton Public Library to purchase new books this winter.
This will kick off the library's $Bucks for $Books campaign to offset the reduction in state funding to the library budget this coming year. The library hopes to raise $5,000 by the end of 2010. That is the approximate amount the budget for new books was cut. This early Christmas present from the Friends will jump start this fund raising drive.
