Mornings with Mommy planned at Trinity Lutheran, Jenera

Trinity Lutheran Church, Jenera, is the location of a Mornings with Mommy held the first and third Monday of the month starting, Monday,  Jan. 18, from 9:30-10:30 a.m.  The scheduled dates are:

This winter and spring's meeting dates are: Jan. 18, Feb. 1 and 15, March 7 and 21, April 4 and 18, May 2 and 16.

How the program works:
Educational play-dates with Mommy for infants through preschool (Ages 0-5). Dads, Grandmas, Grandpas, and nannies are welcome, too.

SHANNON Service Club garage sale Feb. 26-27

SHANNON Service Club, Bluffton, announced dates of its 2016 garage sale during the Friday Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast.

Duane Bollenbacher of the club said that the community-wide garage sale will be Friday and Saturday, Feb.26- 27, at the Centre.

49 cent first-class post rates remain; other U.S. Postal costs go up on Jan. 17

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) will implement new postage rates on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, for several mail classes and special services. The increases do not affect the price of a one-ounce first-class letter, currently at 49 cents. Click here for a chart listing all rates.

Bluffton Soccer Club online registration deadline Saturday

Bluffton Soccer Club spring registration winds down this week as the online registration deadline is Saturday, Jan. 16, according to Ron Koontz of the club.

To register and for all the club's soccer information click here or go to www.blufftonsoccer.com. Credit card payments are accepted for online registration.

 Sue Kinn, Stephanie Lehman, Jodi Diller and Marcia Thomas are the December winners in the Bluffton downtown 3/50 Project drawing in the final drawing of the season.
 
They win an assortment of prizes from participating businesses as a result of their entry forms being picked in a random drawing.
 
Bluffton’s 3/50 Project is part of a nationwide effort that carried the tagline: “Save your local economy three stores at a time.”
