Bluffton Buccaneers sign-up underway

Sign-ups are currently underway for this season's Bluffton Buccaneers midget football team according to Mac Davies, coach. The team is open to youth entering grades 3 to 6.

Still time to sign up for Frazee Golf Outing on July 9

The fourth annual George Frazee Golf Outing is Saturday, July 9, at the Bluffton Golf Club.

The event assists the George H. Frazee III Bluffton University Scholarship Fund.

Jordan Skilliter enjoys successful summer pitching season

The NWO Buckeyes U14 travel baseball team placed 3rd in the Nations Ohio State upper Elite Division baseball tournament this past weekend in Grove City.

The Buckeyes defeated Akron Attack 3-1, Brunswick Blue Sox 4-2, Bowling Green Jr Bobcats 9-8 and lost in the semi-finals to the Rubber City Hit Club 15-3. The Rubber City team was ranked #1 in the nation at the time.

Leading hitters were Ross Adolph (Van Buren), Clay Grubb
(McComb) and Jordan Skilliter (Bluffton) who all hit home runs during the tournament.

Bluffton Soccer Club registration underway; forms available on The Icon

Soccer registration for the fall is here again. Registration forms area available by clicking here.

Please review and make anynecessary changes to the registration form and sign the Black Swamp Soccer Liability Consent form. Please return forms to Bluffton Soccer along with your payment in person or by mail prior to July 1.

Open registration takes place at the Bluffton Middle School from 5 to 8 p.m. on June 20, 23, 28, 30 or you can mail the forms to Attn: Ron Koontz. 7960 Rockport Rd Bluffton Ohio 45817.
