FOOTBALL: Beavers light up Kenyon 51-35 in season opener
It was an electric night under the lights for the Bluffton University football team as they lit up the Kenyon College Owls 51-35 in their season opener. The Beavers improved to 1-0 on the season while Kenyon fell to 0-1. FULL STORY at BlufftonBeavers.com

MEN'S GOLF: Beavers take 11th at Lou Collins Memorial
BATTLE CREEK, Mich.--The Bluffton University men's golf team capped a solid opening weekend with a 317 at the Lou Collins Memorial Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 2. Ada-Liberty and Bluffton EMS respond to US 30 crash

On September 1 Hometown Stations of Lima reported that the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a 2:30 p.m. single vehicle rollover crash on US 30 near SR 235.

Michigan murder suspect pursued, apprehended off I-75 in Findlay

FINDLAY–The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a motor vehicle pursuit, which resulted in  an officer-involved shooting and standoff in Hancock County.

Pirate boys soccer blanked by Big Green

The undefeated Ottoville boys soccer team defeated visiting the Bluffton High School team 3-0 in a non-league match on Saturday afternoon, September 2.

The Pirate boys dropped to 1-3-1 with the loss. Ottoville improved to 6-0-0 after the win.

Bluffton cross country at Grove Invite

The Bluffton High School cross country teams competed at the Columbus Grove Invitational meet Saturday, August 2.

The Pirate girls finished eighth in a field of 14 teams. Minster won the girls team title with 41 points, followed by West Liberty Salem (57) and Botkins (81).

Bluffton scored 253 points to edge Carey in ninth place by a point.
