Trinity Lutheran hosts two New Year's services

Special New Year's services will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera. The New Year's Eve service begins at 7 p.m. on Dec. 31 and the New Year's Day service is at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 1. Everyone is welcome and the church is handicapped accessible. Jan. 5 next library book discussion

Bluffton Public Library's monthly book discussion will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5.

"A Civil Action" by Jonathan Harr is the selected title for January's discussion. The book discussion will be held at Common Grounds Coffeehouse & Caf'e.Anyone interested in attending is welcome and a month-to-month commitment is not required. Copies of the book are available at the library.

Icon adds new Facebook Friends feature

The Icon is happy to announce a new feature launched today (Dec. 28). On the bottom right side of the home page is a link to Facebook Friends of the Icon.

The feature lists all activities involving The Icon through Facebook. Also featured are comments when Icon Facebook friends click that they like an Icon story.

To become an Icon Facebook friend click here, or click on the Facebook icon on the bottom right side of the Icon home page. Once on the Facebook page click "like."

You might be Bluffton's longest loser! (It's a good title to earn)

BFR offers the challenge of 2011 - you may become the longest loser! (Which, in this challenge, is a good thing.) The challenge begins the week of Jan. 17.
