By Joanne Niswander

Sydney, Australia, October 11, 2000

We promptly treated ourselves to some of the most beautiful sights of this city that has one of the most beautiful harbors in the world.

Annexation of North Dixie area has enough signatures to pass

Bluffton council on Monday passed the second reading of an annexation ordinance, which would bring in 37 parcels of land to the village from the North Dixie Highway neighborhood, south of the village.

According to Fred Rodabaugh, mayor, 17 out of 35 property owners have signed the petition for annexation. The village is one of the 17 signers because it owns property in the area seeking annexation.

Dick McGarrity voted against the ordinance, which passed 5-1.
