University production: It's more than just a story about "little women"

Sarah Diller thinks she knows why she has been drawn to theater from a young age.

The Bluffton University junior says "I'm the classic middle child-the Jan Brady Syndrome," referring to the attention-starved middle daughter on "The Brady Bunch" of '70s sitcom lore. "That is the sole explanation for why I'm in theater."

BVHS Service of Remembrance in Findlay April 25

The ninth annual BVHS Service of Remembrance will be held at the First Presbyterian Church at 2330 South Main St., Findlay on Sunday, April 25 at 2 p.m.

The non-denominational memorial service will honor BVHS patients and residents who died in 2009. All are welcome to attend the service, which will be followed by a reception.

This is the week to buy used books. Here is the scene from Bluffton University's Musselman Library's used book sale. It is one of two used book sales in progress this week in Bluffton. The Bluffton Friends of the (Public) Library are also holding a sale.

Oscar Velasquez is in the process of painting his second mural for the community of Bluffton - this one on the side of Forever in Stitches on Main Street.

This mural will be a period scene from the 1940s and will feature local people who worked on the railroad along with local townspeople and businesses that have helped make up Bluffton's history.

Brian Wickham 1965-2010

Brian Wickham

Brian Lee Wickham, 45, Jenera, died in Gulf Shores, Alabama, April 11, 2010. He was born in Findlay on April 9, 1965, to Jack and Sharon Connor Wickham. On March 25, 1983, he married Taunja Gould and she survives.

Mr. Wickham was an account manager with Trisco Systems, Lima, and Shelter Products, Daphne, Ala. He had owned and operated Wick's Construction Co. He was a member of Bethel Church of Christ, rural Ada. He was also a member of ACN Telecommuncations Network Marketing group, AOPA, and the Moose Lodge 698, Findlay.
