Pirate girls basketball downed by Bath

BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School girls basketball team fell behind big early and lost 52-41 to visiting non-league rival Bath Tuesday, February 6.

February chamber meeting celebrates 50 years of Et Cetera Inc.

The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly breakfast meeting on Friday, February 9. This month the chamber is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Et Cetera Inc.

Deadline extended for FAFSA  portion of TCF scholarship application 

The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation is extending the deadline  for supplemental financial information due to delays with the Department of Education’s Free  Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) processing.

Albrecht gallery will showcase senior students

Bluffton University's 56th annual juried student exhibit closes Friday, February 9.

Four senior artists from Bluffton University are showcasing their most prominent work in the Grace Albrecht Gallery of Sauder Visual Art Center. Titled, “Reflections,” the exhibit opens Feb. 19 and runs through March 22.

Students with work on display include Kelly Bilen, an art major from Archbold, Ohio; Jenía Freewalt, an art education major from Delphos, Ohio; Adrianny Ruiz Suarez, a pre-art therapy major from Columbus, Ohio; and Amanda Scott, an art major from Millbury, Ohio.

Bluffton Schools will close on April 8, day of the total solar eclipse

Bluffton Exempted Village Schools will be closed on Monday, April 8, due to the total solar eclipse that will take place. (See NASA information HERE.)

The schools noted, "In consultation with safety services and the potential for a large number of people to be on the roads due to the eclipse on April 8th, school will not be in session."
