Two more Vacation Bible Schools are yet to be held in the Icon viewership area. They follow:

AEP issues Tuesday weather alert

AEP provided the following weather alert for northwestern Ohio on Monday afternoon: Severe thunderstorms containing damaging winds will impact western Ohio overnight.

Upper level systems moving over a warm, moist air mass will develop a series of thunderstorms complexes over the next three days...one is currently moving through southern Ohio.

Thursday Tea at The Inn at ONU features Apple Lemon Pomegranate Rooibos tea

The Inn at Ohio Northern University will be offering a weekly Thursday Tea at the Inn every Thursday afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Inn. The garden courtyard will be open for seating (weather permitting).

Thursday, June 24, Tea at the Inn will feature Apple Lemon Pomegranate Rooibos Tea (A refreshing green Rooibos tea with the uplifting taste of lemongrass, tart apples, succulent cherry bits, green cardamom and pomegranate) with Apple-Lemon Chiffon Tart for dessert. Additional teas and food pairings will be available.

Future tennis pro at work

Kenny Lovett runs while trying to keep his tennis ball on his racket. Kenny is among many area first through sixth graders participating in Bluffton's Midwest Youth Team Tennis weeklong program at Howe Tennis Courts. The event is sponsored by the non-profit Bluffton Area Tennis Association. Several members of BHS's varsity tennis teams are helping out as coaches. They include Jess Hunter, Emily Sprague, Ashlin Gable, Kristi Geiser and Matt Deter. John Sprague is president of the Bluffton Area Tennis Association.
