Margaret Murphy was a nurse and chaplain

Margaret "Peg" M. Murphy, 85, passed away November 7, 2023, at Willow Ridge-Betty House. 

Margaret "Peg" was born July 9, 1938 in Tiffin, OH, to Arthur and Marian (Kamp) Immele who preceded her in death. On September 2, 1961 she married Edward Murphy who preceded her in death on November 12, 2015.

BHS adds interactive sign, website Wall of Fame

Two new ways to view Bluffton High School "Wall of Fame" photos and information have been announced. There is now an electronic interactive sign board in the High School cafeteria. You can also access this information from home at www.blufftonschools.org.

At the top of the web page is a slide show of current BHS teams and groups. Below are links to academic, athletics, arts, yearbooks and history.

FOOTBALL: Bluffton falls to MSJ 49-27 on Senior Day

The Bluffton University football team gave HCAC-leading Mount St. Joseph all it wanted in a 49-27 loss on a beautiful Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023. The Beavers slipped to 3-6 overall and 2-4 in the Heartland Conference, while MSJ stayed perfect at 6-0 in the conference with an 8-1 mark on the season.

The polls are open today, November 7, from 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. for the General Election. Find information about Bluffton area candidates, state issues and polling places HERE.

November 10 BACC meeting includes program on Bluffton Safety Services

The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly breakfast meeting on Friday, November 10. The meeting will be held on the third floor of Bluffton Town Hall, 154 N. Main St.

Diamond Manufacturing is the meeting sponsor and Twisted Whisk Cafe will be providing the breakfast, which is served at 7:00 a.m.

The program on Bluffton Safety Services begins at 7:30 a.m. Jan Basinger, EMS Chief, Jon Kinn, Fire Chief, and Ryan Burkholder, Police Chief, will speak about workplace safety and other topics.
