The Cincinnati-Dayton Guild of the Network of Biblical Storytellers will present a program of stories in the biblical tradition at First Mennonite Church at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 7.

The program titled "Laughing Out Loud: Celebrating the Resurrection," will be presented. Ten storytellers will participate. One of the presenters is Tom Boomershine, founder of the Network of Biblical Storytellers.

"The people of English Lutheran Church invite you to join us "on the way" to the surprise of Easter as we gather for our Holy Week services," said Rev. Kevin Mohr, pastor.  

He continues: "The journey begins this weekend with our Palm Sunday celebration at 9 a.m., which will include a procession with palms and an interactive reading of Luke's narrative of Jesus' passion. 

The Bluffton Area Ministerial Association has organized Good Friday activities for the Bluffton community.

On Good Friday, March 29, all are welcome to the annual Cross Walk. This year the walk begins at English Lutheran Church at 11:30 a.m. From there the walk proceeds to St. John's UCC, Bluffton Presbyterian, First Mennonite, First Methodist and ends at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

A Mom-to-Mom Sale is planned  Saturday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to noon at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Road, Bluffton.

The sale will feature baby items, infant, children and maternity clothes along with other
items pertaining to children. Admission is $2 or two canned good items which, will be donated to the Bluffton Food Pantry.

First Mennonite Church, Bluffton, is host to a Sister Care workshop on Friday and Saturday, April 26-27.

Carolyn Heggen and Rhoda Keener lead the weekend. The seminar is under the auspices of Mennonite Women USA. Sister Care seminars lead women interested in gathering with other women to learn ways to integrate scripture, prayer, self-care and individual gifts in caring ministry.
