Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera, released its Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Easter schedule.
Palm Sunday services on March 24 will be at 8 and 10:30 a.m. with Sunday School and Bible Class for all ages beginning at 9:20 a.m. The students of Trinity Lutheran School and the adult choir will sing “Come, Faithful People!” All attending will receive a palm branch.
On March 28, the Maundy Thursday service begins at 7 p.m.. The choir will sing “Remember.”
The Bethel College, North Newton, Kansas, choir will perform in concert at First Mennonite Church, Bluffton, on Monday, March 18, according to Steve Yoder, pastor.
The concert, in the church sanctuary, is at 7 p.m. and is open to the public. Bill Eash, Bluffton College alumnus, directs the choir.
The final mid-week service of the Lenten season will be held at 7 p.m. on March 20 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera.
Pastor John Merseth of Grace Lutheran Church, Weston, will speak on "Names of Wondrous Love--The Way". The Choir will sing "Jesus Wept".
A light supper will be served between 5:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.. Everyone is welcome and the church is handicapped accessible.
St. John’s United Church of Christ will host a benefit concert for Larry Battle at 6 p.m., Saturday, March 16, at the church, 223 W. College Ave.
The concert will feature the church choir, Michael Lester, Crystal Sellers Battle, Dr. Raymond Wise and others, according to Rev. Carol Clements, pastor of the church.
Battles faces several surgeries, including a gastric bypass and spinal cord surgery.

The Pandora United Methodist Church Choir will be presenting their Easter Cantata, “Who Do You Say That I Am?” written by Lloyd Larson on Sunday, March 24 at 9:30 a.m. during the worship service.
The church is located on SR 12 at 108 East Washington St. in Pandora.
The church service and refreshments in the fellowship hall afterwards are open to the public.
The choir is directed by Pat Basinger and accompanied by Chris Meyer. The Rev. Duane Kemerley is the pastor.
