The Pandora United Methodist Church will host a free community meal on Wednesday, April 25, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora.

The meal this month is Scalloped Potatoes/Ham, green beans, applesauce, roll, coleslaw and cake.

The youth of English Lutheran Church will host a special brunch and entertainment featuring Bluffton High School Men's Quartet.

This fundraising event will be held at the church, 111 Grove St., Bluffton, on Sunday April 29 following the 9 a.m. service.

Donations will go towards those participating in the ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans July 18 to 22.

The Children's Choirs of St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora, will present "The Amazing Grace Race," on Sunday, April 22, at 11 a.m. and again at 6 p.m. Both performances are at the church, 15988 Road 4, Pandora.

The musical involves 70 children from the Bluffton/Pandora area from age 4 to grade 5. The musical tells the story of runners Annie, Riley, Jake, Bella, Claire, and Spud as they follow the direction of their coach and run the "Race of Life."

Dr. Cheryl DeWitt stands with her alpaca, who will be part of the Earth Day blessing of animals.

Rev. Dr. Matthew Zuehlke of the Bluffton Presbyterian Church will conduct a Blessing of the Animals on the Presbyterian church lawn at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 22, in celebration of Earth Day. All creatures great and small are welcome.

The Bluffton University Gospel Choir will give a concert Sunday, April 15, at 6 p.m. at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Road.

The 60-member choir not only involves Bluffton Univesity students but others from the community. Dr. Crystal Sellers, a member of the university music faculty, directs the choir.
