Due to the rise in COVID-19, St. John's United Church of Christ, Bluffton, is not open to in-house worship services at this time.
However, each Sunday’s service is recorded and posted on the church website and Facebook page, as well as YouTube.
The weekly worship services go live on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m., and may be accessed at www.blufftonstjohns.com where a link to YouTube is provided. The services are also posted on our Facebook page.
Riley Creek United Methodist Church, 7102 Road M, Ottawa, will conduct a Virtual Christmas Celebration from Sunday, Dec. 6 through Friday, Dec. 11.
Since 1972, the church's annual Carol Sing traditionally has invited all in the community to hear scriptures and sing Christmas carols on the first Sunday in December.
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera, will host a guest speaker on Sunday, Nov. 22. Pastor James Mattek of Christian Family Solutions, Germantown, Wisconsin, will speak at the 8 and 10:30 a.m. services and lead the Bible Class at 9:30 a.m.
A remembrance of The Reformation will be in the Sunday, Nov. 1, services at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera. On Oct. 31, 1517, a monk named Martin Luther, nailed a paper on which were written 95 Theses, to the Castle Church door in Wittenberg, Germany.
This sparked changes in the church at that time, which are still upheld today. Service times are 8 and 10:30 a.m.

Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 8374 Phillips Road, Bluffton, will hold a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 13. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for youth 10 and under.
