Friends and family of the late Ruth Whitt will gather at the Bluffton village park at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 4, in a celebration of Ruth's life, according to her husband, Wales.
Ruth Whitt was a long-time Bluffton resident who died July 16, 2014, in a hospital in Augusta, Ga.
While in Bluffton she worked with the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, Bluffton News and owned Jan's clothing store, now The Black Lab.

Bluffton Family Recreation announced its June Adventure Camp schedule, according to Joseph Beagle, director.
This year BFR offers camps for two age groups. The first is for youth 3 ½ to 5. The second is for youth ages 6 to 9.
“At Adventure Camp your children will learn while having fun,” said Kelly Honse, lead instructor, who has a degree in art education. “The camps include theme-based activities, crafts and snacks.”
