Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin, has again compiled County Health Rankings, a tool they have developed so that counties can see how their health ranks with that of others in the state. Ohio and county data are now on the County Health Rankings website: www.countyhealthrankings.org. These rankings have been released annually since 2010.
The Impressions & Stingers of Cory-Rawson High School will present Cabaret 2014 at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5, at the Cory-Rawson High School auditorium.
Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students; they are only available at the door. Refreshments will be served at intermission and a silent auction will take place both nights. This event is the major fundraiser for the group.
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold a Lenten service at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 2, at the church, 301 N. Main Street, Jenera. “From Garden to Glory” continues as the theme for the Lenten services.
Vicar Billy King from Immanuel Lutheran Church, Findlay, will preach on “The Garden of Passion” based on Luke 22:39-44 and the choir will sing “Go to Dark Gethsemane.”
The Ladies’ Aid will serve a chili supper from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome and the church is handicapped accessible. More information is at tlcjenera.org.
The first Be A Beaver Triathlon is set for Saturday, May 31, in Bluffton.
Beginning at 8 a.m. at the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool, the event will include a 400-meter pool swim, a 20-kilometer bike on nearby country roads and a 5K run through village streets and the Bluffton University Nature Preserve.
