Tu Pueblo Mexican Restaurant, 142 N. Main St., Bluffton, will have special live music performed on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Guadalajara, a mariachi band from Columbus, will perform during the evening. This is the band's second visit to Tu Puebo.

The Northwest Conference will hold a student-athlete sportsmanship meeting at the Delphos Eagles on Friday, Nov, 22,  at 9 a.m.  Dr. Dan Ross of the OHSAA will be a featured speaker and will address the group starting at 12:30 p.m.

All schools in the conference will be sending student-athletes to this meeting as the conference continues its emphasis on good sportsmanship. John Edinger, principal at Delphos Jefferson is the primary organizer of this event. 

John Marshall, host of "On The Road," will feature the Bluffton Blaze of Lights on his radio vignette later this month.

Icon viewers may hear it by tuning into WFIN 1330 AM at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce reminds holiday shoppers that chamber gift certificates make great Christmas gifts.

Certificates are available from any teller at Citizens National Bank's main office in Bluffton.

• Certificates may be purchased in any amount.
• Certficates may be used in any Bluffton business.
• Certificates expiration date is 12 months after the purchase date.
• There is no extra charge for a certificate.
• Recipients have the option of cashing the gift certificate at Citizens National Bank

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The Bluffton University men's basketball team was the victim of a late-game run and fell to the Illinois College Blueboys, 87-82, on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013. The home team was able to close the game on a 6-0 spurt to earn the victory over the Beavers, who fell to 1-1 on the season.
