Cartridge World is collecting school supplies Aug. 12-17 at both of their Lima locations.
Supplies will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Allen County for their 3rd annual Back2School Kickoff on Aug. 17.
Cartridge World will accept new school supplies at both Lima locations: 1094 N. Cable Rd. and 2100 Harding Highway.
According to Dave Fett, owner of Cartridge World Lima, “We enjoy being involved in our local schools, and this is one way we can partner with the community to give back.”
Registrations for 2013-14 are being taken for Preschool students at Trinity Lutheran School, 105 Allen Street, Jenera.
Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September through May from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

The churches of Pandora and Gilboa are offering food boxes for households in the Pandora-Gilboa School District.
The boxes are designed to provide nine meals for a family of four. In order to pick up a box, you must register by calling 419-384-3038 by 5 p.m on Monday August 26.
Boxes will be available to be picked up on Saturdaym August 31, at 11 a.m. at the Grace Mennonite Church located at 502 East Main Street, Pandora.
3 c. sliced fresh peaches
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
Mix peaches in 1 cup sugar. Let stand. Put butter in 2 quart casserole, place in 325 degree oven to melt. Combine remaining sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
Pour over melted butter (do not stir). Spoon speaches on top of butter (do not stir).
